The modern barn has 38 stalls with runs, auto
waterier, and a high-tech security system loaded with 46 cameras. Everything the
cameras see is recorded, and they can be viewed from multiple sites, including
Allen’s house, the training center, and the office. There are eight turnout
pens, partially covered, and two round pens of 50 feet and 40 feet. The exercise
arena is being put in
now and can
be accessed directly from the round pens.
In addition
to 2 six-horse traditional walkers, the Double Eagle also invested in an
eight-horse Odyssey Performance Trainer.
In the Odyssey Trainer, horses
free run between a set of gates with forward,
reverse and variable speeds
available.
Each horse has a 24-foot space with a gate in front and a gate
behind him,
and
it’s programmable to walk, trot, change direction,
cool down… Excellent for rehabs, sales prep and general conditioning.
